→ 001; [action]
[It had actually been a few days since he'd come back to Luceti. After his initial rage, he had just decided to stay out of the way. He didn't want to talk to anyone, didn't want to deal with anyone...
But that, of course, wasn't going to last forever. He couldn't get things he needed without going in public, which meant running into people he didn't want to run into.
Ion in a wheelchair, though...that was something he didn't expect to see. There was a moment of "was it really him?" But it was completely impossible to mistake Ion for someone else; because really. He was him, in a way. Brothers, a twisted idea for a family, whatever.
He was quiet, when he approached him though. Ion seemed to be minding his own business--it would be so easy to do. And the temptation was pretty much overwhelming. How could he pass this up, when the opportunity was right there, as if handed to him on a silver platter?
Hopefully he just won't get grounded this time.YOLO!!
He creeps up behind Ion, bent on making it being a surprise, really. Sync could be quiet when he wanted to be; so hopefully he wouldn't be caught.
3...2...1--AND there he goes, tipping Ion out of his wheelchair in as swift of a move as possible. He laughs as he does so, mischief glinting in his eyes.
Okay, maybe he had kind of missed messing with Ion. Help the poor soul?]
((ooc: ion and sync will both be responding to this! characters can intervene right after Ion falls or while Sync is destroying the wheelchair (which will be happening as well). Just specify when!
edit: ALSO i didn't specify but Sync is in fact wearing a mask. So characters might not know immediately that he and Ion resemble each other.))

[Action]
Perona's behemoth of a pet is walking along side her, about the size of a large and powerful horse with a lot more girth, saddled with her daily shopping bags. He, too, can see the things going on, and all three of his heads lift their lips over sharp, pointed teeth. He senses his master's mood, he knows there's going to be an order to attack, and he's ready to obey.
But instead she instructs him to take a less direct approach. Stalk first, go around from behind or one side. Creep up and hide quietly until he's close enough for Perona to call on him. She will be the one to be direct. Because, even she has a rather intimidating presence, as she walks calmly up to the duo, eyes narrowed.]
...Pick him up. And apologize. [Now.]
[Action] perona > sync > ion also wow i'm late my bad!!
Yeah, that doesn't work. He doesn't like to listen to people. In that case, what he says next shouldn't be much of a surprise to Ion at least:]
You can't order me to do anything.
[Action] RUDE SHANNON!!
[Ion feels a bit of relief upon seeing Perona -- knowing that Sync might be less inclined to do something worse to him with a witness around. Of course, aside from knowing Perona has a rather scary looking pet, he doesn't know too much about how she'd fair is Sync decided to attack both of them.]
[He doesn't say anything yet, instead looking back at his chair and hoping Sync doesn't make good on his threat to destroy it yet...]
[Action] seriously, I mean wow.
Can't I? What makes you so sure I'm not capable enough to put you in your place, little boy? ...You're not very smart at all if you begin to underestimate me. Now I'll ask you again - pick him up and apologize for what you did. ...Otherwise bad things may happen.
[Perona can see Cerberus from where she is, or the looming shadow of the beastly canine, lurking close by, and prowling ever closer. She lifts her head, to inform him to be ready for her cue.]
[Action] throws self out a window!!
But then again, Toph didn't look like much either.]
I don't want to repeat myself - but I'm still not doing it.
[But this time he's going to start focusing on an arte to break the wheelchair...still unaware of the canine.
Oops.]
[Action]
I-It's all right, he doesn't have to-- [His eyes wander from the chair back to Sync, and then all at once turn to panic.] S-Sync, what are you doing?
[Action]
That's enough, you green monkey! Cerberus, it's play time! Try not to break this toy too badly, all right?
[Beckoning with a finger, she motions for her dog to come. And come he does - charging like a bull, all three heads snarling and howling. The distance is short, and each gaping maw is poised to clamp down on any inch of flesh that's near enough.]
[Action]
He should've kept his guard up -- he'd been too caught up in destroying the wheelchair and being generally awful.
Stupid!]
[Action]
[But as terrible as Sync is and as terrible as Ion feels, seeing his wheel chair crumple at the call of Sync's spell... well. He doesn't want to see Sync get eaten by a three headed dog. Not at all.]
M-Miss Perona, wait! Isn't that a bit excessive?
[Action]
Buuuut she'll glance Ion's way before making a "tch" sound and motioning with her finger for Cerberus to drop his plaything.]
...That'll do, Cerberus. Good boy.
[Action]
So by the time he gets dropped, he's...understandably really sore.
He's going to try to get up now, though that might just be a slow process. And for once? He doesn't have anything to say off the top of his head. He's spending his energy doing other things right now.]
[Action]
[He manages to pull his gaze away and look back at Perona.]
I know what he's done is terrible, but please, can't we help him? He should go to the clinic for treatment. And I know he won't go by himself.
[Given Sync's mask probably fell off when he got shaken up, it might be a little more clear to Perona why Ion's actually concerned for the guy who broke his chair. After all, despite the age difference in Luceti, they still look more or less identical.]
[Action]
Tugging out a roll of bandages from the zipped up pocket of her teddy's back (it's just become commonplace for her to carry some medical supplies after babysitting Zoro on Kuraigana) Perona intends to throw it at him and be off. She owes this whelp nothing, and gave him exactly what he deserved and then some. It's only when she catches a very brief glance of his face, turning back to Ion to reassess what she just saw, does she reach for Sync's side, where he's not been wounded. This is idiotic, but she can understand a little better now... Brothers, maybe? A really shitty brother.]
Don't fuss, or Cerby-chan will have your head next.
[Action]
Despite her warning him, he'll be trying to move himself away from her regardless.]
I don't...need your help.
[Why would he want help from someone who just had their dog maul him anyway--]
[Action]
You won't be able to take care of the injury with just one arm. You should check to make sure it isn't broken. [Or at least dislocated -- that was quite the attack, after all.]
[Action]
When he tries to move away, she grabs his shoulder firmly and jerks him back toward her to inspect the damage. Stupid boy, she's doing you a favor - you are going to sit still, be quiet, and take it.]
I'm no doctor, but the wound isn't necessarily fatal, from what I can tell...if it's tended to appropriately. And quickly. You'll need stitches, and a sling I think, but you're actually very lucky my dog missed an artery, or you'd have been dead already. [She smirks, despite herself.]
[Action]
Does she think that death would intimidate him?]
I'd rather be dead, if you ask me.
[He's got a few issues tbh, Perona.]
