He needed a distraction. One that isn't trying to pick a physical fight with people because that never seemed to end well here. If he's already not feeling on the top of his game it's going to end even worse than usual.]

What's the point of friendships?

If you don't want friends, why are you asking why they are important? I can only tell you why they are important to me.

I was a Queen and then I was a Senator for my planet. Without friends and allies, my duties would have been quite difficult to manage.

I never said I wasn't. I almost died because of what they did to me the last time I was kidnapped.

But that's just all the more reason to worry about you, too.

Friends are the people you turn to when you're feeling down. You can trust them with your secrets and when you wanna go have some fun, they're the ones you hang out with, ya know. They can pull you through tough times and... In return, you pull them through tough times. Friends are closer to you than other people; that's what makes them special.

But if you don't wanna hear about warm and fuzzy stuff, you shouldn't be asking about friendships. If a friendship is cold and rugged like a shark's fin, it isn't much of a friendship at all.

I still think I don't know a lot about being someone's friend, but...

Um, having friends is really important. When there's something you can't do by yourself a friend will be there to help you. Sometimes even if you don't ask for help. And a friend will believe in you even when you don't believe in yourself. Friends can help teach you, and make you stronger both inside and out. I've become a lot stronger since I've made friends.

They're all everyone wants to talk about. I didn't know why they were so great.
