→ 001; [action]
[It had actually been a few days since he'd come back to Luceti. After his initial rage, he had just decided to stay out of the way. He didn't want to talk to anyone, didn't want to deal with anyone...
But that, of course, wasn't going to last forever. He couldn't get things he needed without going in public, which meant running into people he didn't want to run into.
Ion in a wheelchair, though...that was something he didn't expect to see. There was a moment of "was it really him?" But it was completely impossible to mistake Ion for someone else; because really. He was him, in a way. Brothers, a twisted idea for a family, whatever.
He was quiet, when he approached him though. Ion seemed to be minding his own business--it would be so easy to do. And the temptation was pretty much overwhelming. How could he pass this up, when the opportunity was right there, as if handed to him on a silver platter?
Hopefully he just won't get grounded this time.YOLO!!
He creeps up behind Ion, bent on making it being a surprise, really. Sync could be quiet when he wanted to be; so hopefully he wouldn't be caught.
3...2...1--AND there he goes, tipping Ion out of his wheelchair in as swift of a move as possible. He laughs as he does so, mischief glinting in his eyes.
Okay, maybe he had kind of missed messing with Ion. Help the poor soul?]
((ooc: ion and sync will both be responding to this! characters can intervene right after Ion falls or while Sync is destroying the wheelchair (which will be happening as well). Just specify when!
edit: ALSO i didn't specify but Sync is in fact wearing a mask. So characters might not know immediately that he and Ion resemble each other.))

[That's about all Ion manages to think before he topples onto the ground, landing right on his face. He doesn't even know what to think when he hears the laugh, his mind jumping to Florian at first instead of Sync. But why in the world would Florian do something like--]
[And then it clicks. Before he even has the time to lift his head off the ground, legs still laying limply beside him, he realizes just who the perpetrator was. But even when he turns around and actually looks, he doesn't quite believe it.]
...S-Sync?
[Action]
When he says his name, he smirks a little bit.]
I knew you were a weakling, but I didn't know it'd gotten so bad that you had a wheelchair. Do you really need it?
[Maybe he should break it...]
[Action]
[There's little point in asking why since it's already well-established that "because he's Sync" is a legitimate answer to such a question.]
[And of course, the last thing he's going to do is answer Sync's question. He's just going to try and look like he's intentionally staying down on the ground rather than doing so because he has no choice, yep.]
[Action]
Does it matter? I'm just glad I was able to stay away from you people until today.
[And that was only because he saw an opportunity. So neither of them are going to answer questions, huh?
He puts a foot on the wheelchair, and raises an eyebrow.]
You didn't answer my question.
[Action]
...the Malnosso did this to me. I wouldn't have it if I didn't need it.

Destroying Ion's chair. But haven't they–
..
.....
Dat mask.] Sync!
[action] Tear > Ion > Sync
[Before, this was just a terrible inconvenience. Now, it was terrifying. He couldn't run away. He could barely crawl, his body only just strong enough to hold himself up. And as the chair crumpled down into a mess of metal and rubber, he fell back to the ground, his arms having shifted to shield himself instead.]
[Really, it's a wonder his neck doesn't snap for how quickly he turns when he hears Tear's voice.] T-Tear!

I didn't expect one of you to show up already.

Whatever the case, she's already made her way to Ion and is rapidly glancing back and forth between him and Sync, trying to make sure the former is okay while the ready to defend him against the latter.] If you wanted to keep your arrival discreet, this is hardly a good way to do it.

First he whispers to himself.]
Oh mighty explosion...
[And then he shouts out with more rage.]
Energy blast!
[It's directed straight at Sync - maybe the wheelchair will be damaged more, too, but it's already being broken and replacable anyway. Ion luckily has the protection of a friend mark.]
jade > sync > ion
Ow.
He rolls off of it slowly, onto his hands and knees as he shakes his head to shake it off. He looks up in the direction the spell had come from, and gathers himself up into a standing position once again.]
Isn't it cowardly to attack when your opponent isn't paying attention? [He'll be feeling that tomorrow, but he won't let on. Nope.
But he may be trying to think about what to attack Jade with, regardless.
Also he's a hypocrite here but that's nothing new.]

[But despite the on-going tension between Ion and Jade as of late, Ion still feels a wave of relief hit him when he arrives. Still, if he can do anything to prevent this from becoming a full-scale fight, he'll give it a try.]
You're hardly one to be saying something like that. You pushed me out of my chair when I wasn't looking.
[Though still feeling a mixture of fear and frustration, being stuck here on the ground unable to flee, he sounds angry. And even in Luceti, that was uncommon for him.]
no subject
Ion's correct. I believe that, as cowardly as my action of pragmatism could appear to be, it's quite a few rungs up the ladder from attacking a wheelchair-bound pacifist.

He's just heading to his apartment - just to look at it one last time, just to see if there's anything else left - when he sees what's happening. Just the sight of Sync makes an uncomfortable feeling sink into his stomach, born from an event that his mind deemed too awful to remember.
It makes Luke grit his teeth, and though he's a little too late, he quickens his pace until he's running to the both of them.]
Sync!
[action] luke > sync > ion
Of course the brigade starts coming.
[It's more of a growl to himself, because really. He can't get away with nothing, can he? :|]
[action]
[But when he hears Luke's voice, head turning to look in his direction, his eyes widen and his jaw drops. If not for the stinging pain on his cheek where he made contact with the ground, he might have believed this all to be a dream.]
Luke? When did you...
[action]
If you're looking to start a fight, you've got one right here, Sync! If not, then walk away.

And now, as she hurries their way, that same person is trying to break the chair itself?
She just wanted to make sure.]
What do you think you're doing?
[action] Mia > Ion > Sync
[He almost doesn't notice Mia right away, too focused on trying -- in vain -- to stop Sync.]
[action]
[The spell went into effect as Mia made her way over towards him, and as the Earth came up to shatter the chair, he looks over at her.]
What does it look like I'm doing?
[
Kicking a puppybullying a Fon Master that he hates oh-so-much...][action]
[A layer of ice washes over the ground between this new boy and Ion, as though to keep one away from the other. Mia steps in front of Ion, too, looking back for a minute to make sure he's not hurt.
Then she faces Sync again.]
How could you? Leave him alone and go back to wherever you stay.

Perona's behemoth of a pet is walking along side her, about the size of a large and powerful horse with a lot more girth, saddled with her daily shopping bags. He, too, can see the things going on, and all three of his heads lift their lips over sharp, pointed teeth. He senses his master's mood, he knows there's going to be an order to attack, and he's ready to obey.
But instead she instructs him to take a less direct approach. Stalk first, go around from behind or one side. Creep up and hide quietly until he's close enough for Perona to call on him. She will be the one to be direct. Because, even she has a rather intimidating presence, as she walks calmly up to the duo, eyes narrowed.]
...Pick him up. And apologize. [Now.]
[Action] perona > sync > ion also wow i'm late my bad!!
Yeah, that doesn't work. He doesn't like to listen to people. In that case, what he says next shouldn't be much of a surprise to Ion at least:]
You can't order me to do anything.
[Action] RUDE SHANNON!!
[Ion feels a bit of relief upon seeing Perona -- knowing that Sync might be less inclined to do something worse to him with a witness around. Of course, aside from knowing Perona has a rather scary looking pet, he doesn't know too much about how she'd fair is Sync decided to attack both of them.]
[He doesn't say anything yet, instead looking back at his chair and hoping Sync doesn't make good on his threat to destroy it yet...]
[Action] seriously, I mean wow.
Can't I? What makes you so sure I'm not capable enough to put you in your place, little boy? ...You're not very smart at all if you begin to underestimate me. Now I'll ask you again - pick him up and apologize for what you did. ...Otherwise bad things may happen.
[Perona can see Cerberus from where she is, or the looming shadow of the beastly canine, lurking close by, and prowling ever closer. She lifts her head, to inform him to be ready for her cue.]
